Sleeper State Park is located on the "thumb" of Michigan with 223 modern campsites. The park features a half-mile beach of fine sand along Lake Huron. Four miles of marked nature trails traverse thickly forested old dune ridges and wetlands. In

Located on the outskirts of Caseville, this active County park is well known for its wide sandy beaches and excellent swimming. Outdoor activities abound at this active waterfront park and campground situated on 40 acres with 65 water and electric campsites, 67 full hook-up sites and 72 mobile home sites. Plenty of sandy swim beach, picnic area, playground, and relaxed camping. Fishing is steps away on Caseville Pier.

Bird Creek is a seven acre day use park located in the small town of Port Austin at the Thumb's very tip. The first thing you notice at Bird Creek is the wooden boardwalk that goes halfway around the park along the beach with roofed picnic shelters overlooking the beach and the water. The park features a large picnic Pavilion adjacent to the playground. A new restroom and shower facility completes the park features. Pavilion can be rented.
