Established in 1929, The Leelanau School is a non-profit, 9-12 grade boarding and day high school located in Glen Arbor, MI. The School is situated on the Crystal River within the 73,000 acre Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and on the western shore of Lake Michigan. Leelanau attracts motivated students particularly interested in the sciences and writing in addition to its challenging college preparatory curriculum. Leelanau offers a setting where, with a faculty/student ratio of 1 to 10, students are encouraged, challenged, and supported to reach their potential. 100% of the graduates go to college each year. A full array of sports (recreational and competitive), arts, community service, and independent study complement a comprehensive academic curriculum.
