We offer financial assistance to pet owners in Kalamazoo and Van Buren Counties who need to have their dogs and cats spayed and neutered. We work with veterinary clinics in Lawton, Mattawan, Paw Paw, Gobles, Bangor, and S. Haven on a rotating basis dependent on available funds. Pet owners may call our answering machine to listen to the recorded message that lists currently participating clinics. We traditionally pay $30 for male cats, $40. for female cats, $50. for male dogs, and $60. for female dogs. Those who qualify (low income), may be able to request a certificate for a $5. cat spay/neuter or a $10. dog spay/neuter with special funding from a grant through the D.J. & T. Foundation. These certificates may only be used at specific clinics and must be obtained before the appointment is scheduled. Our motto is-PREVENTION - NOT DESTRUCTION! Health InformationSusan G.
