The Roth Street Park borders Reed City's east end along the Hersey
River. It features three ball diamonds, tennis courts, volleyball, a playground, sheltered picnic
area, and an obstacle course. This Park seems to be the busiest of
the five Parks, as it is host to several annual events, including the
Crossroads Celebration and the Circus when it
comes to town.
The ball
diamonds are also very busy in the summer, reflecting Reed City's
passion for baseball: many league events are scheduled here. There
are also several tennis courts available for either a few volleys, or for a
good workout. The park also offers a sand volleyball court for your family reunion or some serious competition.
Recently, a new pavilion was built that includes a full kitchen with full concession capability. |
This Park also borders Reed City's Linear Park on the Eastern end: just look for the stairway leading to the river, in back of the Parking lot, and you're off to a nice hike.
