	Liberty Township is located in the Northeast corner of Wexford County. This is primarily a rural but scenic wooded area, with over a third of it inside the Pere Marquette State Forest. The major attraction of this township is the Manistee River. There are several campgrounds along the river in this township, including the Chase Creek Camp and the Old US-131 Camp. The tall bridge on US-131 with adjacent park and rest area is a good place to view the River.
