Wyandotte is a city of 13 parks. Bishop Park is the main park and is on the riverfront located on Van Alstyne, between Chestnut and Vinewood . It has picnic areas, a picnic shelter, restrooms/concessions, playground equipment, tennis courts, a fishing pier and view of the Detroit River. It host of the annual Heritage Days Program each September.

Another recreation center in Wyandotte is the Yack Arena, 3131 Third Street, (734) 324-7290 (hotline) (734) 324-7265 for questions. It is used as a home base for the Wyandotte Figure Skating Club and the Wyandotte/Riverview Hockey Association.

Swimming is offered year-round at the city owned Memorial Pool, adjacent to the Brighton Center at 20th and Ludington.

BASF Waterfront Park and Wyandotte Shores Golf Course have been added to the City's Recreation offerings. The 20 acre park doubles the public's access to the river and has a brick promenade, look-out decks, rowing launch, trails and an amphitheater. The Scottish design, nine hole golf course spans 65 acres and is open to the public.
