Center Line is 1.7 square miles and is located in Macomb County.

Center Line was incorporated into a village in 1925 and as a city in 1936.

The St. Clement Church Bell Tower is a landmark of Center Line. There is also the Center Line Memorial Park, the recreation center and one public library.

Center Line got its name from being between two major Indian Trails in the 1840’s. The railroad helped bring industry to the area which helped make Center Line a community.
