Buckley is situated in Hanover Township in northwestern Wexford County on M-37. It’s showpiece is scenic lake Gitchagumee, which can best be seen from the park just south of town. This town is known for the annual Buckley Old Engine Show the 3rd weekend of August - one of the largest in the country. This show is famous for its live displays of actual operating steam engines and tractors, not to mention the flea market, daily parades, arts and crafts, and old-time music.
