Springville Township, Michigan

	Springville Township is located at the near northwest border of Wexford County. It’s main community is Mesick, where the township hall is located. At least a third of it is in the Manistee national Forest. Hiking and ORV trails are numerous. The highlight of this township, however, is without question the Hodenpyl Dam Pond on the Manistee River. The dam holds back the waters to form a 10 -12 square mile lake. The pond has many access sites and several beaches where the water is cool and clear!
