	Pinora Township is located in eastern Lake County, along the Osceola County border, about eight miles west of Reed City. This is a scenic, hilly area on high ground, dotted with fields and forests, with a couple of small lakes. It is sparsely populated, consisting mainly of farms and small cattle ranches, along with some cabins and summer cottages. About a fourth of the township is included in the Pere Marquette State Forest. Township building is located on Deer Lake Road, three miles north of US-10.
