North Shade Township, Michigan

	North Shade Township is Gratiot County’s southwestern corner. This area is entirely agricultural, consisting of dry bean and corn production, as the rest of Gratiot County is known for. It’s geographical features are unremarkable. What makes this township unique, however, is it’s location in the middle of four cities, all within 2 miles of its borders: Middleton, Perrinton, Maple Rapids, and Carson City. The township hall is located at the corner of Roosevelt and Warner Roads.
