Kimball Township with a population over 8,628, is located in the center of five different communities: Clyde, St. Clair, Port Huron and Wales townships and the city of Marysville. The township is home to St. Clair County Airport.

An industrial park is located at the airport within the township.

Several small corner stores scattered throughout the township, Horizon Shopping Mall for major brand outlet shops, two grocery stores, 2 lumberyards, flower shops, numerous fast food and full service restaurants and feed 'n seed stores.
