	Inland township is located on Benzie County’s central eastern border. It’s main community is Bendon, where the township hall is located. The township was named after a town by the same name, which existed from 1869 until 1903. Today, this area remains primarily rural, with over half of the township as part of the Pere Marquette State Forest. It’s main features include several freshwater marshes, including Grass Lake, which comprise the headwaters of the beautiful Betsie River.
