	Hanover Township is located in the northwest section of Wexford County. It�s largest community is Buckley, where the township hall is located. This township consists of primarily undeveloped wooded areas, approximately � of which are in the Pere Marquette State Forest. The Manistee River winds through here, and there is a major canoe portage point at the Indian Crossing Camp in the center of the township.
