	Gerrish Township is located in northwestern Roscommon County. It is situated on the eastern half of beautiful Higgins Lake. This is one of the most popular tourism areas in Michigan, with many summer cottages as well as year-round homes. A great place to view the lake is at the State Park on the south side of the lake, where boat ramps and picnic areas are available.
