Fork Township is at the northeast corner of Mecosta County. It consists of rural farmland, lakes and rivers. It�s largest town is Barryton, where the Township hall is located. The North and South Branches of the Chippewa River flow through this township, joining together at Barryton. Merrill Lake Park, a great place for camping and swimming, is also located there, just a few miles north of Barryton, west off M-66.
