Ostrichs
- A flock of over 50 ostrichs being raised on a farm east of Stephenson.
- The ostrichs are being raised for their eggs, which are sold for incubation and then used to produce birds to be sold as meat.
- The ostrich has small, useless wings but can reach a speed of 45 mph in three strides.
- The ostrich is the largest of existing birds and can weigh up to 300 pounds
