This village was settled in 1885 by the French Canadians. Now better known for it's finish Heritage. One hundred and three years ago, October 17, 1895, John Lyons became the first postmaster of Covington. The name Covington come from Covinton Kentucky, where Mr. Lyons had come from in 1886. On October 23, 1901 Mr. Lyons was succeeded by Richard J. Howes. |
