Bloomfield Hills, Michigan - 49221

On January 28, 1819 the first land entry in Bloomfield Township was made, by Colonel Benjamin H. Pierce, brother of Franklin Pierce (U.S. President). Judge Amasa Bagley became the first actual settler, settling on what came to be known as Bagley's Corners, later known as Bloomfield Center, and now as Bloomfield Hills.

This area located in Oakland County was incorporated as a village in 1927 and as a city in 1932.
