Allen Park, Michigan - 48101

	Welcome to Allen Park! The Community itself was originally part of Ecorse Township until it was incorporated as a village on April 4, 1927. Thirty years later, it was incorporated into a city in 1957. It was named in honor of Lewis Allen, whose family arrived in the area in 1819. The three largest private employers of those living in the community are: Ford Motor Company, Frito-Lay, Inc., and Hueblein, Inc. Our Allen Park Street Fair is the talk of the Downriver community with its varied sights, sounds and tastes. Come enjoy the music on the avenue, a parade, a bicycle race or a garden walk.
